Transfer Files between Android and PC Wirelessly

We have talked about how to transfer photos and videos between iOS devices and computer via WiFi in details. Many Android phone users also ask us whether iPhone WiFi Transfer is compatible with Android phone or not. We are so sorry to tell you the truth that it isn’t capable of any Android devices.
In this article we will recommend two free Android apps which features to transfer files between Android phone and computer wirelessly. They are named AirDroid and WiFi File Transfer which are two popular apps on the Google Play Store. There is also no need of any USB cables, but WiFi network is essential. We will give a brief introduction about the two apps in the following content.

AirDroid is a free app that lets you wirelessly manage your Android from your favorite browser of Windows/Mac/Linux computer or other devices.
You can use AirDroid to send/receive SMS (text messages, if supported by the device), install/uninstall apps, transfer files between Android device and computer/tablet, and manage contacts, photos, music, videos, and ringtones, etc., all in a web browser. Install AirDroid on your Android device and open your favorite web browser to experience it yourself.
Download it on Google Play Store—Airdroid. Please go to YouTube to get the how-to details.

WiFi File Transfer

WiFi File Transfer can upload and download files between  Android phone and computer via WiFi network. Clear web interface, no need of USB cable. But this free app cannot upload files larger than 4 MB.

Key features
• Upload or download multiple files at once
• Delete, rename, copy, zip or unzip files using the built-in file manager interface
• Password authentication (optional)
• Shortcuts to photo, video and music directories
• Runs as a background service
• View photos directly in your web browser (integrated thumbnail gallery)
More details on Google Play Store—WiFi File Transfer.

Both the two are free of charge and similar to each other on functions. The only difference is that there is a file size limitation for the second app. In my opinion, Airdroid is much more attractive on the screen style. Of course, which one you prefer to is up to personal desire.
