Most people know that not all video formats are compatible with iOS devices. There are only several formats are supported by iOS devices, such as M4V, MP4, H.264 and etc. In our tutorials, we usually use iPhone WiFi Transfer to do the wireless video transferring. We have talked the iPhone WiFi Transfer supported video formats.
If your video format is not any one of the appropriate one, how will you do with the video transferring? Of course, iTunes cannot work as well. In this article we will show you a solution to solve this problem.
Since the videos are not compatible with iOS devices and iPhone WiFi Transfer, we can convert them to one of the compatible formats. That is to say the solution is video conversion. I will take Clone2go Video Converter for Windows as an example.
1.Download and install the video converter. Then open the video converter.
2.Click the “Add Video” icon to input original videos.
3.Click the “Profile” icon to select an appropriate output format for those videos.
4.Click the “Start Encode” icon to start the conversion.
5.Click the “Folder” button to locate the output files.
Moreover, you also can do some video edition before the conversion, such as trimming the video length, cropping the video shown as the above screenshot. Just leave those items as the default setting, if you wouldn’t like to make any changes.
