It is much similar to the process of sharing photos between two iPhones. There is no need of iTunes, USB cables or computers. You need WiFi network and WiFi Transfer. Moreover, iPhone and the Android phone have to be connected to the same WiFi network.
Download Android and iPhone WiFi Transfer. They are available on the Google Play and App Store.
Run the WiFi Transfer on the two smartphones.

Tap the Receive button on the Android phone screen. Then select the iPhone to load the iPhone albums.
Open one album to choose the photos you need. Download photos iPhone photos to Android phone.
